Internal Grants Training – New Faculty Research Grants and New Faculty Summer Excellence Research Awards Workshop

Primary Investigators (PIs) often need support to design projects or to gather pilot data necessary to obtain external support for research, scholarship, and creative activity. This workshop will explore how to apply for these internal sources of funding.

Featured topics will include:

  • award information
  • eligibility
  • how to prepare and submit an application
  • application review
  • award administration information.

The workshop is open to full-time, untenured, tenure-track faculty below the rank of professor/clinical faculty/research faculty/academic professional faculty within their first three years of appointment.

Workshop preregistration is required by Monday, December 3, 2012.

The submission deadline for the grant applications is no later than 5:00 PM, January 31, 2013 (last working day of the month).  The applications and guidelines can be found here.
