Export Control Management
(Approved by the Chancellor, October 7, 2007)
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro will exercise all due diligence to comply fully and completely with all United States export control laws and regulations, including those implemented by the Department of Commerce through its Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the Department of State through its International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as well as those imposed by the Treasury Department through is Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Export control regulations affect a broad spectrum of university functions including admissions, human resources, international programs, sponsored programs, technology transfer, academic research, accounts payable, and materials management / procurement.
