SUMMARY:CFRN Collaborative Conversations: Facilitating Applications for the Chancellor's Initiative for Transformative Research
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to be hosting and facilitating two in-person “Collaborative Conversations” over the next two weeks with the goal of identifying and supporting teams of scholars who are interested in submitting a collaborative proposal to the Chancellor’s call for Transformative Research.  \n\n\n\nThe Child and Family Research Network is uniquely poised to take advantage of already-existing connections and to build new ones.  Please join us for some informal scholarly connection and brainstorming on Friday\, March 21 and/or Friday\, March 28 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in NIB 124. We will then hold follow-up support and facilitation sessions for the teams that emerge prepared to work towards the May 15 proposal deadline.  \n\n\n\nPlease complete this quick Qualtrics Survey so that we can learn more about your work\, identify new collaborative possibilities\, be prepared for the facilitation of discussion groups\, and have senior scholars ready to support our junior faculty!  \n\n\n\nIn addition\, here is the information for the Chancellor’s Initiative for Transformative Research and the link to the UNCG Strategic Plan. \n\n\n\nNo formal preparation required – just come\, connect\, and talk about how we can answer the call for transformative research. It’s a chance for us to tangibly work toward our goal of Improving the Lives of Children and Families through Collaborative and Interdisciplinary Inquiry.
