SUMMARY:U.S. Army Medical Capability Development Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Join the North Carolina Military Business Center and the North Carolina Coalition of Defense Researchers for a Science and Technology webinar discussion with the U.S. Army Medical Capability Development Integration Directorate (MED CDID). This webinar will be held on Aug 6\, 2025\, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. \n\n\n\nLTC Susan Gosine\, Chief\, Science and Technology Branch\, Concepts Division\, will discuss current and future technologies of interest to the Army medical community. \n\n\n\nThe mission of MED CDID is to develop concepts\, learn\, and integrate capabilities to improve medical support to our Army and the joint force. MED CDID’s Science and Technology Branch finds current and emerging technologies that improve our medical capabilities on the future battlefield from now to the year 2040 and beyond. \n\n\n\nSpecific topics related to medical science and technology will include:  \n\n\n\n\nClothing and textiles\n\n\n\nHuman performance monitoring\n\n\n\nMedical devices\n\n\n\nSynthetic biology (and similar fields of science)\n\n\n\n\nThis is a free webinar; however\, pre-registration is required to receive the virtual platform credentials.
