SUMMARY:UNCG Research and Creative Scholarship Orientation for New Faculty and Research Scholars
DESCRIPTION:This orientation will provide essential information to help you navigate the research enterprise at UNCG and connect you with the people\, offices\, and resources that are here to support you. \n\n\n\nTopics will include:  \n\n\n\n\nHow to identify and pursue funding opportunities\n\n\n\nNavigating the grant submission process\n\n\n\nUnderstanding grants and contracts\n\n\n\nResearch compliance and integrity\n\n\n\nIntellectual property and innovation\n\n\n\nOpportunities for community-engaged scholarship\n\n\n\n\nWhether you are new to research or experienced in proposal development\, this workshop will offer valuable insights tailored to UNCG’s systems\, policies\, and opportunities. \n\n\n\nWe encourage all new faculty involved in research and creative activity to attend.
