Check back in January 2025 for additional information about future ORE Faculty Fellowship Program opportunities.

Full-time UNCG faculty in professional and tenured appointments at the Associate and Full Professor ranks are eligible to apply and serve as the ORE Faculty Fellow. Faculty applicants must have approval from their Chair/Head and Dean to apply to and participate in, the program. The fellowship is one year, starting June 1, annually, with an option to renew for a second and final year by mutual agreement with the Vice Chancellor for Research and Engagement. The ORE FFP is designed to be incorporated with a faculty member’s established workload with the following support:

  • ORE will provide the unit/department with support for a one-course release per semester;
  • Summer salary (up to 1 month) for the Faculty Fellow may also be available. The awarding of summer salary will depend on the scope of work and activities the Fellow is engaged in.

Competitive applicants will be invited to participate in an interview with the Vice Chancellor, Associate Vice Chancellor, and current Faculty Fellows.
