Undergraduates Reflect on the Impact of Their Summer Research

Even during summer, research continues to grow across UNCG – a garden in the park or a ginger plant and fungal sample in the lab. Students are also growing in knowledge, using these as springboards for independent research made possible by URSCO.

Engineering New Art Experiences

3D-scanning technology could transform the world of art and how it’s displayed. A UNCG faculty member is laying the groundwork for using this software responsibly to enrich the museum-going experience.

The Nexus of Cybersecurity and AI

Nir Kshetri, Ph.D., professor in UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics, specializes in how emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, Web3 and the metaverse transform global economies, organizations, and societies. Ksherti received a Fulbright award to conduct research in Nepal starting in January 2026. He plans to focus his research on the impact of AI on higher education in developing countries.
