Communicating your Science to the Public

The Center for Women’s Health and Wellness invites you to save the date for our 2023 Speaker’s Series Fall Lecture and Workshop on October 26^th and 27^th.

This is a two-day event where attendees have the opportunity to listen to a lecture by this year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Jody Clasey, and participate in a scholarly workshop which will be led by Dr. Jaclyn Maher. The event will conclude with a networking lunch on October 27^th.

Scholarly Workshop: Communicating your Science to the Public through Infographics

Have you heard about infographics, but you aren’t quite sure what they are? Have you ever thought about using infographics to communicate your science, but you weren’t quite sure where to start? Join Dr. Jaclyn Maher for an overview of the process of developing infographics to communicate your science effectively.  Tips, resources, and lessons learned to help you effectively communicate your science to a broader public through infographics will be discussed. Attendees will also have the opportunity to develop their own infographic based on a recently published, under review, or in preparation manuscript.
