Humanities Alumni Evening at the Weatherspoon
Invite your students—Feb 7^th 

HNAC welcomes students to a very special evening on Wednesday, February 7^th from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Weatherspoon Art Museum. “What I Wish I Had Known” is a collaborative alumni networking event that will feature graduates from several Humanities departments. In addition to hearing perspectives from the graduates, students will be able to mix and mingle as they enjoy hors d’oeuvres. Professional dress is encouraged. HNAC is partnering with Career and Professional Development to offer a “Networking 101” workshop ahead of the event for any students who want to learn more about the “hows” and “whys” of building a professional network.

Faculty, please take the time to help students consider the value of this event. Providing incentives such as extra credit for attending is always helpful, but translating the purpose and benefits of this type of programming is just as vital. Students of any class/rank are welcome.
