Dr. Minjeong Kim Receives New NIH R25 Grant for Summer Research Education
Dr. Minjeong Kim, an Associate Professor and Interim Chair of the Computer Science department, has received a $13,000 for an NIH grant led by UNC Chapel Hill for the proposal “Summer Research Education Program for Promoting Computational Neuroimaging Technology in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and AD-Related Dementias (ADRD).”

Dr. Jonathan Chekan, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has received a new LEAP grant from the National Science Foundation for his proposal “LEAPS-MPS: Engineering and Evolution of Copper-Dependent Enzymes for Targeted Peptide Cyclization.”

Dr. Anne Parsons, an Associate Professor in the Department of History, has received a new $17,000 grant from the NC Department of Cultural and Natural Resources for her proposal, Limits of Freedom.
