Dr. Celia R. Hooper (Health and Human Sciences) has been selected to receive the Fellows Award from the Association of School of Allied Health Professions during the organization’s national conference Oct. 23-25 in Orlando, Fla. The award honors professionals who have made a significant contribution to the field of allied health as administrators, educators, clinicians or researchers. Hooper, who helped establish and has led the School of Health and Human Sciences since its creation in 2011, was named the school’s permanent dean in December 2012.
