The Center for New North Carolinians is currently accepting applications for the ACCESS (AmeriCorps Cross-Cultural Education Service Systems) Project for the 2022-23 program year.

The ACCESS Project partners with non-profit organizations to host AmeriCorps members, who provide direct service to immigrants and refugees, helping them integrate, learn English and job development skills, find jobs to live self-sufficiently, and contribute to our society.

The program offers an excellent hands-on experience and professional development for students. Other benefits include:

  • a monthly stipend/living allowance (part-time: $688 before tax, full-time: $1,375 before tax)
  • an education award to help pay qualified student loans and/or school-related expenses as applicable (part-time $3,248, full-time: $6,495)

For more information and instructions to apply, visit https://cnnc.uncg.edu/americorps-access-project/americorps-application-instructions-forms/.
