Please remember to update the personnel lists on active awards to include all key personnel. “Key personnel” is defined as anyone who is responsible for the design, conduct, and reporting of research. Please consider student researchers, unpaid positions, and outside collaborators when determining who on your team should be considered “key personnel”. For all awards, these individuals will be required to verify COI compliance, per UNCG policy. For NIH, NSF, and USDA-NIFA awards, these individuals will also be required to complete responsible conducts of research (RCR) training.
