UNCG’s Center for Housing and Community Studies was recently awarded one of the Cone Health Foundation’s Partnering for Health Equity grants. They were selected for their efforts to secure access to safe and healthy housing, which is one of the key social drivers of health identified by Cone Health.
NCRAA’s 2025 conference will be on July 21st through July 22nd. They are currently seeking presentation proposals.
The CNNC will be hosting a fundraising gala on Wednesday, May 28th at 5:30pm. All proceeds benefit the CNNC.
Active Girls – Healthy Girls is the only organization in Guilford County explicitly dedicated to closing the gender gap in physical activity. This April, 60 adolescent girls learned that exercise is fun, laying the foundation for a lifetime of healthy decision-making.
Doctoral students play a key role in advancing our knowledge about exercise, especially when it comes to the benefits it gives older adults.
