Researchers at the UNCG Center for Housing and Community Studies collaborate with lawyers at Legal Aid of North Carolina on a variety of projects, including Greensboro's Eviction Mediation Project.

UNCG’s Center for Housing and Community Studies was recently awarded one of the Cone Health Foundation’s Partnering for Health Equity grants. They were selected for their efforts to secure access to safe and healthy housing, which is one of the key social drivers of health identified by Cone Health

Cone Health Foundation is committed to centering and supporting historically marginalized communities through their work. To that end, they announced 74 new Partnering for Health Equity grant partners who are working within the key social drivers of health: access to healthy food, education, economic mobility and safe and healthy housing.

Cone Health Foundation launched the Partnering for Health Equity grant in response to the community conversations that informed the Greensboro Community Report. Many organizations outlined the desire for unrestricted, flexible funding opportunities that allows them to focus their time and efforts on engaging with their communities. These Partnering for Health Equity grants will support solutions that are driven by equity and guided by community.
