About the photo by Sean Norona: Dr. Kierra Sattler and Dr. Esther Leerkes work with a toddler for the iGrowUp study. The multidisciplinary project is among the first to simultaneously examine the biological, psychological, and social factors that could raise obesity risk, from infancy through toddlerhood. Springing from iGrow, Dr. Sattler leads a study investigating the impacts of COVID-19 on parenting. Read more in the 2024 UNCG Research Magazine.
