Center for New North Carolinians to host fundraising gala on May 28
UNCG’s Center for New North Carolinians will host the Beyond Barriers: A Night of Unity gala at the UNCG Alumni House on Wednesday, May 28th at 6 p.m.
UNCG center receives Cone Health Foundation’s Partnering for Health Equity grant
UNCG’s Center for Housing and Community Studies was recently awarded one of the Cone Health Foundation’s Partnering for Health Equity grants. They were selected for their efforts to secure access to safe and healthy housing, which is one of the key social drivers of health identified by Cone Health.
Movement for the Joy of it
Active Girls – Healthy Girls is the only organization in Guilford County explicitly dedicated to closing the gender gap in physical activity. This April, 60 adolescent girls learned that exercise is fun, laying the foundation for a lifetime of healthy decision-making.
