UNCG researchers with an interest in healthy eating and/or physical activity are invited to join the LEAP Summit.

LEAP is a collaboration between UNCG, Cone Health, and the Guilford Health Department, with support from Guilford County Schools, Greensboro Parks and Recreation, and Ready for School Ready for Life. The group is working to bring stakeholders across Guilford County together, to collectively identify common goals and measures that program providers and residents can use to inform their health and wellness efforts.

At the summit, the group of community leaders and university scholars will:

  • prioritize goals and indicators,
  • share what they’ve learned from community-wide conversations,
  • determine next steps, and
  • identify ways to align researchers’ agendas to community-identified priorities.

Please RSVP and direct questions about this participatory decision-making event to LEAP@uncg.edu.
