UNCG University Libraries is now accepting applications for a new Digital Partners Grant. The annual grant offers up to $22,500 in IT staff time and infrastructure towards the development of digital content.

The Digital Partners Grant will create and preserve materials that benefit not only UNCG but also the global scholarly community. Digital projects resulting from the grant will be open access and hosted on the library servers of UNCG. The grant provides recipients access to library infrastructure as well as IT staff with expertise in everything from web design to databasing. Publication with University Libraries will help ensure that digital projects reach wide audiences and are preserved for the long-term.

Previous digital collaborations include the interactive North Carolina Literary Map, Race and Slavery Petitions Project, and North Carolina Holocaust Education, Research, and Outreach.

Applications are open to all UNCG faculty. The submission deadline is January 12, 2016, with recipients announced by the end of February and funding spanning March 2016 to February 2017.
