Judy Miller, owner and founder RSVP Communications, will share the story of how she built a thriving Greensboro-based business at the next Entrepreneurial Journeys program at UNCG on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
The 5:30 p.m. event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Room 1215 of Moore Humanities and Research Administration Building, 1111 Spring Garden St., on the UNCG campus. RSVP Communications is a full-service, direct-response marketing company located at 8765 W. Market St. A native of Greensboro, Miller has grown her company to a level of success that is admirable by any standard. Her entrepreneurial experience has been featured in numerous publications. In addition to serving as the president of her company, she also serves her community. She was the first woman admitted to the Guilford Rotary; she currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Elon University’s Love School of Business, the Board of Directors for the Nussbaum Center, GTCC’s Foundation Board and the External Advisory Board of the NC Entrepreneurship Center. She has been honored by The Commission on the Status of Women as the recipient of the Woman-Owned Business Achievement Award and received GTCC’s Distinguished Alumni Award. In 2012 she was named, by Business Leader Magazine, as one of the top 50 Entrepreneurs in the Southeast Region.
The program will begin with registration and networking from 5-5:30 p.m., followed by a 45-minute program, with a Q&A session afterward. Light refreshments will be served. Free parking is available near the venue on Forest or Oakland streets or behind the Weatherspoon Art Museum.
