Dr. Marcia Rock (Specialized Education Services) received a continuation of funding from the DOED Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services for the project UNCG LINK-2-LEAD. The Linking Important Networks of Knowledge to Lead (LINK-2-LEAD) project is a partnership between UNCG, the Center for Creative Leadership, the School of Education Teacher Academy’s Project ENRICH, and school districts in two counties (Forsyth and Guilford). LINK-2-LEAD is designed to accomplish one overarching program goal – to increase the quantity of special education personnel who have been prepared at advanced graduate levels, and who are well qualified for, and can effectively carry out leadership positions in universities.
