community engageD
Great accomplishments are made possible when we bring community and university-based knowledge together to contribute to the public good.
UNCG scholars recognize and value the knowledge different individuals, groups, and organizations bring to the table. Together, we engage in reciprocal, mutually-beneficial partnerships to make a difference in our shared world.

From lab to life
UNCG researchers understand that an idea is not enough. Innovations must be tested in the real world, and revised, reworked, and honed to meet and effectively conquer the complicated challenges of our lives.
Important tools in these efforts are our interdisciplinary centers and institutes, which drive innovation, create new knowledge, and provide an engine for UNCG scholars to partner with the community to effect meaningful change.
