UNCG Libraries Webinar: The new AI-powered tools for scholarly literature discovery
March 24 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

“The new AI-powered tools for scholarly literature discovery” by Steve Cramer, Tuesday March 24 at 12pm –
Learn about some of the AI-augmented databases for research discovery and citation analysis. Examples include Scite, Research Rabbit, Consensus, Undermind, and Elicit. These tools allow researchers to search by semantics (concepts), map scholarly networks, provide context for citations, and/or evaluate citation patterns. How useful – and appropriate — are these tools for literature reviews? How do they compare to older tools like Google Scholar, EBSCO, and ProQuest? And are they worth your money? (Note: I have full access to Scite, but will use free versions of the other products.)
